Casa Vicenta was born as a space that honors the origin of coffee and the process that transforms it. More than simply a production site, this project was conceived as a holistic experience where functionality and sensory design coexist in balance.
Located in Puerto Escondido, the design is rooted in a central idea: translating the journey of coffee — from the earth to the cup — into a spatial language. Each area follows this process, allowing grinding, roasting, and packaging not only to take place, but also to be experienced, understood, and felt.
At Dialecto, we approached the project as an opportunity to materialize the brand’s identity through space. Our intention was to create an atmosphere that evokes calmness, respect for tradition, and a deep connection with nature and the Oaxacan context.
The concept is built on the union of the productive and the contemplative. Through a restrained, organic, and honest aesthetic, we incorporated natural materials such as wood, clay, stone, and plant fibers, bringing texture, warmth, and authenticity to the environment. The color palette, inspired by the tones of coffee and earth, further reinforces this sensory narrative.
Warm lighting, custom-designed furniture, and the integration of graphic elements guide visitors intuitively through the space, creating a coherent and immersive journey. Every design decision responds not only to operational needs, but also to the intention of crafting a memorable experience.
Casa Vicenta is not simply a coffee workshop; it is a space that tells a story. A place where craftsmanship becomes visible, where tradition is translated into design, and where every detail invites visitors to pause, observe, and connect.
