A project designed to enjoy, relax, and connect with the surroundings.
In this coastal residential project, we developed a comprehensive interior design proposal—from selecting the color palette to designing and assembling the final furniture and decor.
We chose an earthy color base combined with pastel accents to create a warm, fresh, and relaxed atmosphere. All textiles were carefully selected for their water resistance, allowing for full comfort even when coming out of the pool.
We custom-designed the decorative and seat cushions, defining finishes, color combinations, and textures that harmonize with the space and enhance comfort. For the kitchen dining area, we designed a rectangular table in macuil wood with a wax finish that highlights the material’s natural texture and rustic charm. Its height was tailored to integrate seamlessly with the concrete bench, for which we also crafted custom cushions. The table legs, with a slatted design and rounded corners, soften the overall presence and add a distinctive touch.
In the main dining area, which connects to the living room, we created a second table, also in macuil wood, this time with oval ends to optimize space and ensure comfortable circulation. Its cylindrical legs repeat the slatted motif, creating unity and design coherence throughout.
We assisted the client in selecting chairs for both dining areas, stools for the island, a lounge chair for the living room, and a henequén rug that adds texture and a natural connection. In the living room, we also designed an organically shaped low table in macuil wood, paired with a thoughtful selection of clay objects and books that invite contemplation and rest.
One standout piece is the handwoven lounge chair made with seagrass over a rosewood frame, bringing artisanal character to the space. We also designed decorative wooden paddles, custom-made as a symbolic gesture toward the sea and the coastal surroundings—avoiding clichés and working with local materials.
In the bedrooms, we defined a different color palette for each room, selecting handcrafted textiles from the mountains for the cushions and bed runners. The translucent gray curtains gently filter natural light, creating serene and cozy atmospheres.
We completed the project by selecting mirrors that bring depth and openness: a round one in the entryway that echoes the welcome furniture, and a full-length arched mirror in the living room—both with black wooden frames that add contrast and elegance.
From the design phase to the final decorative details, we supported every stage of the process, ensuring a thoughtful execution true to the project's vision. We supervised the complete installation of each element to deliver a final result that is harmonious, functional, and aesthetically cohesive.
